Abstract

Fabricated ahadith have a deep and powerful impact on Pakistani society. These fabricated ahadith influenced Pakistani society in various religious, social and intellectual dimensions. These unauthentic ahadiths often distorts the true teaching of Islam and create misconception among the masses regarding islamic beliefs and practices. Over the decades, these unauthentic traditions have subtly interwoven into local customs, folk wisdom, and religious practices, significantly shaping public perceptions and social behaviors. By blending historical religious thought with regional cultural norms, such narratives have deeply influenced gender roles, social hierarchies, and collective rituals, often overshadowing authentic traditions. This paper Shows you the impact of these fabricated ahadiths that propagate ranging from traditional pulpits to modern digital media platforms and also their role in fostering social polarization, sectarian tendencies, and superstitious beliefs. This study also highlights the critical need for academic rigorousness, public awareness, and institutional scrutiny to separate authentic religious values from culturally embedded fabricated myths, thereby promoting a more rational and tolerant societal framework and also encourage critical understanding based on Quran and authentic sunnah.
