This research article critically examines the representation of feminine culture in Urdu fiction, focusing on Harappa, a novel by Tahira Iqbal. The study explores how the novel encapsulates the lived experiences, linguistic identity, socio-cultural expressions, and philosophical consciousness of women in a rural Punjabi setting. Through an analysis of key female characters, the paper illustrates how Tahira Iqbal redefines traditional gender roles and gives voice to suppressed narratives. The narrative structure, regional language, and cultural symbolism serve as vital tools in constructing a distinctly feminine discourse. The article concludes that Harappa is not merely a literary depiction of rural life but a bold feminist statement that challenges patriarchal norms and reclaims agency for women in Urdu literature.
