This research paper examines, in the light of the Qur’an, the traits and actions of those individuals whom Allah Almighty does not love. The Qur’an repeatedly uses the expression “Lā yuḥibbu” (Allah does not love) to describe people who embody negative moral and social characteristics such as transgression, spreading corruption, usury, ingratitude, disobedience to the Messenger ﷺ, injustice, arrogance, betrayal, and boastfulness. These vices are not only destructive for an individual’s spiritual and moral life but also lead to widespread societal disorder, injustice, and moral decline. The study concludes that the absence of divine love results in deprivation, both in this world and the Hereafter, while the root causes of contemporary social problems can be traced back to these same condemned attributes. The findings emphasize that the only way to attain Allah’s love and to build a just, peaceful, and harmonious society is through adherence to the Qur’an and unconditional obedience to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The paper also recommends moral self-accountability, incorporation of Qur’anic values into education, the elimination of unjust economic practices like usury, and the revival of Prophetic teachings of humility, justice, and gratitude as solutions for modern-day challenges.
