Marital life is a cornerstone of human society, deeply rooted in the ethical and spiritual foundations of Islamic teachings. This study explores the principles governing marital relationships as outlined in selected classical and contemporary Tafsir works. The research focuses on addressing modern complexities in marital life, such as shifting gender roles, communication challenges, financial pressures, and the influence of globalization on family structures.By analyzing the doctrinal discussions in the Quran and their interpretation in key Tafsir texts, the study highlights the wisdom and applicability of Islamic principles in resolving these complexities. It evaluates the balance between rights and responsibilities within marriage, emphasizing mutual respect, compassion, and justice as pivotal elements. Furthermore, the research bridges the gap between traditional exegetical insights and the practical needs of contemporary society.This applied study underscores the relevance of Quranic guidance in providing sustainable solutions to marital challenges in the modern era. It also offers recommendations for applying Tafsir-based principles to promote harmony, resilience, and spiritual growth in marital relationships.
