Abstract

This research investigates the paradigm of economic justice as derived from the Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), with a focus on the principles of takaful (mutual solidarity) and equitable distribution of resources. The study aims to explore how the Prophet (ﷺ) established an ethical and just economic framework that ensured social balance, eliminated exploitation, and promoted human dignity. By analyzing Quranic injunctions, Hadith literature, and historical examples from the early Islamic community, the paper identifies key mechanisms through which economic justice was implemented—such as zakah, waqf, prohibition of riba, and encouragement of social responsibility. Furthermore, the research applies these prophetic principles to contemporary socio-economic challenges, highlighting their relevance in addressing inequality, poverty, and wealth concentration in modern societies. The study concludes that the Prophetic model offers a timeless framework for achieving sustainable economic equity based on moral responsibility and collective welfare.
