SOLUTIONS TO THE MORAL ISSUES FACED BY YOUTH IN SOCIETY AND THE PRINCIPLES OF CHARACTER BUILDING (AN ANALYTICAL STUDY IN THE LIGHT OF THE BIOGRAPHY OF THE PROPHET (PEACE BE UPON HIM)

Abstract

Society is the name of a collection of people, where people of different races, religions, and nations live together. The progress and decline of any society depend on the education, civilization and moral values of the people living in it. As long as moral values are respected in society, the society continues to progress. Peace, security and mutual love and affection remain in society but after the decline of moral values, deterioration occurs in society. Bribery, usury, corruption, oppression and injustice begin to flourish in society and society becomes polluted with jealousy, hatred, lies, backbiting and gossip. The monster of selfishness and self-interest begins to rage in every person. If we take a quick look at the society in the present era, we will know which sin is common in our society. Everyone is thirsty for the blood of others. Even a real brother cannot see the progress of another brother and considers his success a source of shame and disgrace for himself and is seen using all kinds of evil tricks to harm him. Our neighbors live next to us and suffer countless hardships due to poverty and destitution, but as neighbors, we feel dishonored even in seeking their well-being and helping them, and if we ever have to give them something, we undermine their self-respect. By helping them, we show them that moral values are being destroyed. It is now necessary that in order to protect and promote moral values, as Muslims, we need to pay attention to those principles due to which peace and values have developed in the world. The collection of those principles is the Quran and the complete life of the Holy Prophet which is a practical interpretation of the Quran. In this article, the solution to the decline in moral values ​​found among the youth has been presented in the light of the Quran and especially the biography of the Prophet.
