This study, titled Emotional Intelligence in the Prophetic Biography: An Analytical Study, examines emotional intelligence through the Qur’an, Prophetic Sunnah, and classical sīrah sources. While modern psychology emphasizes the perception, understanding, regulation, and use of emotions, the Islamic framework integrates these abilities with faith, taqwā, mercy, justice, patience, forgiveness, and moral accountability. Using a qualitative, analytical, and thematic methodology, the study explores emotional awareness, regulation, empathy, communication, and relationship-building in the Prophetic model. The findings show that the Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ neither suppressed emotions nor acted impulsively; rather, he managed them consciously and ethically. His expressions of grief, compassion, forgiveness, gentle communication, and consultation demonstrate a balanced approach to emotional life. The study concludes that Prophetic emotional intelligence should not be equated with modern psychological models but understood as a comprehensive moral and spiritual framework guided by divine principles.
